Welcome to the application for Initial/Catechist level Lay Ecclesial Ministry Certification for the Archdiocese of Detroit!

Mae sure you have review the checklist for Initial/Catechist Level Certification and completed all of the steps before completing this application.

In order to complete this application, you will need the following information:
- Contact information for you and your supervisor.
- Certificates of completion from On Fire for the Faith or approved equivalent program
- Documentation of an Encounter retreat attendance
- Documentation of how you satisfied the hours for methodology or ministry specific training
- Any information related to equivalencies already approved
- Make sure you have met with your supervisor and they are prepared to fill out the supervisor reference form when it comes to them via email.
